About the Course
The goals of continuing professional development (CPD) and medical education are to acquire and retain knowledge that will enhance clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. The following self-assessment survey is offered for CPD credit and is designed to test your current knowledge and skills related to managing patients who present with similar case scenarios.
About the course:
Injury to the bone is common in children and has a broad range of causes, ranging from the benign to the potentially devastating. The evaluation and common causes of bone fracture in children are reviewed here. A 6 years old boy presented with sudden left hip pain for the past 2 days. The pain was persistent throughout the day, and worsens on standing or walking. He denied any recent fall or trauma. No associated fever. He had just recovered from an episode of URTI 1 week ago. This was his second time having similar hip pain.
