About the Course

Dr Chan Choon Teng is currently general ophthalmologist and refractive surgeon in Oasiseye specialist Johor Bahru, and visiting ophthalmologist in Hospital Columbia Asia Tebrau.
She was a medical officer in Community clinic Simpat Empat for a year, and served as medical officer in Department of Ophthalmology Hospital Ampang before she joined master program in Ophthalmology in Hospital Selayang and Hospital UKM. Subsequently, she was an Ophthalmologist in Hospital Sultanah Aminah for four years. She also was also a part-time clinical mentor in Newcastle University Malaysia.
During her service in Ministry of Health, she was actively participating in various outreach programs to serve the community, to create awareness among the public about eye diseases. She also joined cataract camp as a cataract surgeon.
